North Korean Oppresion

This is an extremely interesting subject for me. I have never known much about North Korea in my lifetime, but I find this topic fascinating. I saw so many images of people that were sobbing as if they had lost a child; all for Kim Jong dying. Also, the country is so poor; many people have resorted to turning to cannibalism because they are so hungry. The average salary that a North Korean makes is $2000 a year. 2000 A YEAR. And their leaders sit in extreme wealth. I personally believe that the people are brainwashed. When they are isolated and punished for certain behaviors, I think it affects them long term.
